The Trinity's preprogrammed tuning options vary depending on the vehicle that is being tuned. Gasoline powered vehicles feature tunings based on minimum octane ratings, while that of diesel vehicles are based on horsepower ratings. In addition to this, the DiabloSport Trinity also supports custom tuning, with the ability to hold an additional 5 custom tunes and contains the most adjustable parameters on the market. With over 100MB of onboard memory devoted solely to recording and playing back PID/DMR data, it allows users to record hours and hours of continuous data streams directly from the vehicle's powertrain and electronic control modules (PCM/ECM) and interprets live OBD-II data, converting it into a readable format: virtual gauge pages.
